Intent

Our intention for the curriculum is to encourage students to explore the rich and varied world of foreign culture and language. We aim to make our students globally aware, so that they are able to appreciate a wide range of cultural, social and economic differences between our country and other nations. We want students to become confident communicators in the language studied and to gain an essential range of structures and linguistic tools to enable them to speak with increasing spontaneity.
